Beach Daydream

Beach Daydream is an surreal homage to Clavijo’s homesickness during her four years in undergrad, the installation is meant to act as a faux home. This tropical place has traveled to the midwest and was pieced together from her memories and what she believes her home feels like. The installation is overly saturated and loud in color to express the idea of desires being perfect when we crave them and disappointing once we obtain them.
